In 2003, Filters for Families made 10 biosand filters with the help of FINNIDA and Nepal Red Cross. The top picture on the left shows a tractor on it's way to collect sand and gravel for filters from a river near Butwal. The lower figure shows our first completed filters in Kunuwar.
